Not only do we teach your child to dance, but also to worship through dancing! We offer dance classes and private lessons in varying styles including ballet, tap, hip hop, tumbling and jazz for children of all ages.

At the end of each class your child will have a bible verse to remember and we will pray. During the year you will have the opportunity to participate in community service events as well as many other fun events that make our dance studio different and truly like a family. Come join us!

Meet the Owner

Jenny Hicks

Jenny has taken dance since the age of two and has been involved in competitive dance as well as cheerleading. She has a passion for teaching students of all ages to dance and express themselves through dance.

Jenny began a dance ministry with a heart of opening doors to the community and their families. She hopes to not only strengthen dancing abilities and other talents, but also to lead others closer to Christ by teaching them that they can worship through dance. She believes that if you place Christ in the center of all you do, you will always succeed!

Jenny has two little girls, Mae Lee and Mabry, and is happily married to her husband, Daniel.



Dance Assistant
Alex danced competitively for 14 years in styles like jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, and more! She is currently a senior in high school and is looking forward to what the future holds for her. Alex has a passion for expressing herself through dance and movement and loves to share that passion with others. She values the power of learning and growth both in all aspects of life, and believes that you should never stop advancing who you are. She is so excited to have the opportunity to teach kids of all ages and styles in a wonderful and faithful environment!


Dance Assistant
Sydney began dancing at the age of 3, soon moving to competitive dance in all styles such as jazz, lyrical, hip hop and production. Her persistence and determination has earned her several awards including multiple solo awards. When she is not dancing, Sydney can be found cheering as a member of the East Davidson JV Cheerleading squad. She has always tried to be a role model to up-and-coming dancers and cheerleaders. She loves working with children of all ages to instill the confidence that being a dancer can bring.

God and family are very important to Sydney. In her free time, she enjoys, taking photos, drawing, swimming and hanging out with friends.



Dance Assistant
Mandie has been worship/praise dancing since 2010. She has worship/praise danced at her church and at several Christian based events. Mandie loves to express her worship through dance. She has always had a passion for dance. While in middle and high school, Mandie was on a step/dance team that performed at different venues. She also has a passion for the youth and is the youth president at her church. Mandie loves helping young people to be involved in positive activities that will draw them closer to God and to making positive decisions in life.


Dance Assistant

Linley studied dance for thirteen years, and has experience in ballet, lyrical, modern, jazz, tap, pointe, pom, and hip hop.  She has four years of studio teaching experience from Carolina Dance Productions in Clayton, as well as L.A. Dance in Morrisville.  She also has six years of school and competitive cheer experience, and coached high school competitive cheer for two years.  Her freshman year of college, she was a member of the UNC-Charlotte Dance Team.  While at Meredith College, she was a member of the Meredith Jazz and Tap Ensemble, and the NCSU Wolfpack Shag Association.  After graduating from Meredith College in 2012, Linley taught Family and Consumer Sciences classes for 4 years at the middle and high school level; these included Foods & Nutrition, Parenting & Child Development, Interior Design, and Apparel courses.  Linley married her wonderful husband, Brandon, in 2015.  She now works on staff with Cru, (formally referred to as Campus Crusade for Christ).  After working as campus staff at her alma mater, Meredith College, from 2016-2018, she now serves with Cru at UNC-Greensboro.  She has a strong desire to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others, and it is a blessing to be able to bring together her love for dance and her faith to glorify God.  She loves being a part of the Vision Dance family, and is expectant to see how God will continue to use this ministry to help dancers of all ages and ability levels grow in their knowledge of technique, develop their passion for dance, and fall more in love with Christ.
